Reasons why the A student work for C students

Written by Zhuliakho Agunrege

We all know that "A" student who doesn't need a calculator to solve mathematics. Yet, they are broke.
It's not because they want to be, it's because they find themselves broke.
You will see business administration student looking for job.
Can't you create one with the little penny you have.

"Life is a race, run like your are being chased before it chases you" (Zhully)
"A" student successfully make A's but they hardly make it after school.

Why do you think so?
Here are the 5 genuine reasons why A student hardly make it and eventually work for the C student.

1)Most "A" student read to pass not to learn

This is very common with "A" student. Most of them read to pass examinations and they derive no lesson from what they were taught.

I know, it's good to pass examinations, although not for the glory but for your own sake, read to learn.
Everything taught in school has a meaning, messaged and impact in our lives.

For instance, have you ever imagined the application of FLOW CHART in your personal life ? , but if you are asked to define it, you will write 10 full pages.
You can draw a flow chart for your own life. If this works, I will do  this  else this, isn't that the idea behind it.
But NO, you only know the definition.
Let's leave that aside.

What of the buss.admin student who were taught tactics to start a business and are still looking for job
Or
Physics student who were taught how to jumpstart a car but can't apply it in real life.

What a shame, don't fall a prey for intelligent poverty.
Be wise, read to learn and impact meaning in your life.

2) They run away from social media

Most "A" student feel social media is a distraction and therefore stay away from it.
Well, to some point YES and on the other hand NO.
I will tell you that social media works they way you want it to work.
Follow real people who you can learn from and you will see that it's not a distraction at all.

Besides, if you train your mind to be focused, you will remain focused and won't be distracted by anything.

2b) They lack internet

This also falls right under social media. My dear, there are several benefits out there on the internet. A good example is self-building. And I tell you, that's exactly what I'm doing.

Self-building: You are wondering how right?
Sweetheart, you are an A Student, you have A's  with ease. C'mon there are student out there struggling to make good grades. Share your knowledge. Start a blog and teach people how to learn fast, teach them how to read and understand, give them the magic you use in solving that Calculus.

And I assure you, people will visit your blog, your colleagues will visit, especially those who feel intimated by your knowledge. They will learn from you.
Build yourself!, not your degree.

3) They are perfectionist
Yes, most "A"student want to be perfect. They love to have 95-98 out of 100 but they forget that students who have 75 are also "A" student.

My dear , the standard air pressure to boil water is 212°F (100°C) , anything more than that is still boil.
Focus, more on other things.
Combine extra-curricular activity with schooling and you will be surprised by the result.
It's okay to have all the A's in school but it's not okay to be nothing after school.

4) They secure a good degree for job not investment
Most "A" students secure an outstanding degree for job not investment.
Imagine a computer science student not have a website of his own?

Many believe that contract will come one day and they will make it. My sister, do you think anyone would want to give anonymous contract?
They will rather give their relatives than an outsider.

I was discussing with my mom one day,we were actually taking about something else and we diverted to employment and first class student.

And my mum said :
("Mama ,sö  röwipe  awón  manager àti director  ti wó ni  2'1{ second class upper}  màà  Fi  ayè  silè  fun awón first class Sha")
let me translate it in English she said :

"Mama, do you think managers with second class upper will leave their position for First class?

But seriously, that's the truth. Do you think so? That's it. That answers the question "why are first class honours student unemployed".
No manager will want you to unseat them from their position even when you deserve it.
This means that you have to create opportunities for yourself

But wait,if these CEO's were like you Job searcher, would they have jobs for you.
Read, learn to invest, not to search for job.

And lastly.....
5)They don't know how to balance education and extracurricular activities

This is a very general problem for everyone not just for "A" student.
C'mon, don't be batch operating system.
I know it's stressful right? Yes, it is.
I know that. I know how stresssful it was for to write this and at the same time read my books.
But for real, you have to. Just try your best.

Always remember that "It's good to be an "A" student but it's better to be a "successful A " student.
Make first class and SUCCESS your priority.
