How to start a blog
Starting a new blog is quite stressful. There are lots of discouragement out there that can make you quit without thinking twice.
But my dear, you have to start. Neglect the negative situation and focus on your business success.
I remember fully well when I started blogging in 2017.I had too many things to cover. I had assignment, personal reading and blogs.I encountered a lot of difficulties and I ended up deleting by blog.
I remember correctly when i shared my blog post for the first time on a Facebook group check. Someone criticized my blog, even to the point of calling it trash. But , I replied him with a thank you, because at least he went through my page.
This didn't bring me down at all, I kept on creating and deleting new blogs and my ideas kept on evolving until i found the right one.
And I said to myself, this isn't the end. I had my personal dreams to purse apart from blogging. So, I started another one.I started my main blog again ---- Zhullyblog and here I 'm running three blog stop without affecting my education and achieving my dreams.
I had to balance my education along side with my blog plus I'm a movie lover.
And now, I started billionaire mindset.
So what exactly is your excuse?
Say this yourself, " I can do this". Ooh yessssss you can.
Today, I will be sharing with you 5 genuine tips to start a successful blog.
1)Make a plan and an alternative plan
This is the very first step you need to take.
Make plans about your blog.Map out strategies you want to follow. This is the wisest things any successful person can do.
Planning ahead will give your blog a head and won't get disappointed at the end of the day by the result.
Backup plan ?!
Ooh yessssss!!!!
You are wondering why I include this. My dear, things don't go as planned most time. So you need a backup up plan just Incase it doesn't work out as planned.
2) Know your target audience
Funny how most people don't know their target audience.
You need to figure out who your audience are. Just imagine advertising a skincare blog on a motivational platform.
C'mon , this is not right at all. You need to channel you blog to the right people. You need to meet with those who are interested in what you post.
3)Find your niche
Yes, this would have been the very first but without a plan and audience , there will be no niche.
What is a niche ?
I'm sure you have been seeing this here and there.
A niche is simply "keyword ".
That eye catching and captivating topic is what we call a niche.
Find a niche to each post. Get a topic that will make people read from your blog.

3)Make use of the right social media
Most people don't understand this. There are lots of social media applications out there where you can connect with audience.
But which is the right one.
Let be simplify it.
You will be surprised that Instagram is not the best place to get audience except if you are an Entertainment , Fashion and food blogger.
Despite the fact that it's users are increasing my millions daily, you can't use Instagram. The reason is because it does not support direct link.
Your audience cannot connect with your blog directly.
Unlike Instagram, Facebook and Twitter are just the best. Link works well. Your audience can views each of your post with Just one click.
4) Research your competitor
Yes, do some research.
While you are thinking about how your blog grows, track those who are successful in your blog like.
Map out their strategy, then modify it to build yours.
5) Maintain your name
This is the problem most bloggers have. You need to maintain your name. Don't use different name on different pages.
Use the same name for all your accounts so you don't get your audience confused
6) Make yourself comfortable
The only way to keep up with your productive is making yourself comfortable.
Once you are in your comfort zone, you will post more
7)Be consistent
Consistency is the key. You have to be very consistent in whatever you do. You should have a frequency --- either you post once daily, weekly or monthly.
And lastly,
8) Do not copy and paste.
This is very bad. Don't try it at all.
